Ms. Rudylynn De Four Roberts

Rudylynn De Four Roberts attended Howard University in Washington DC., where she obtained a Bachelor of Architecture in 1974. She is a Past President and Fellow of the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects and is a registered Architect in Trinidad and Tobago.

Her first love is for Historic Restoration and she has devoted much of her life to restoring historic buildings and lobbying for the preservation of the built Heritage in Trinidad and Tobago. Rudylynn established and served as Director of the Trinidad and Tobago’s Government Historic Restoration Unit for twelve years, before starting her own private architectural practice, De Four, Farmer and Associates Ltd. and now Rudylynn Roberts Architects Ltd.

As a founding member of Citizens for Conservation she was actively involved in researching and drafting The National Trust Act of Trinidad and Tobago and was a member of the Trust’s first two Executive Councils. She is president of The International Council of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) Trinidad and Tobago National Committee.

Her experience in the Field of Preservation allowed her to serve on several Government committees in various administrations, such as the Queen’s Park Savannah Management Committee, Archaeology committee, Restoration action Committee, and represent her country at several conferences and symposia, delivering lectures and networking for the heritage preservation movement.
