Our Line Ministry
KEY OBJECTIVES
- To create an enabling environment for the manifestation of Diversity of Cultural Expressions and the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage
- Support policy development and capacity building in the sector so as to increase its contribution to the GDP
- Assist National Cultural organizations to become more self sufficient and improve their management of national festivals
- To develop programmes and policies that reflect the multi-ethnic society of Trinidad and Tobago
- To deliver and support the library and information needs of all customers
- To showcase the art and heritage of Trinidad and Tobago to an international audience and to sensitize the local community to the international development of arts and heritage

The Ministry of the Arts and Multiculturalism will be committed to fostering the development of our arts and heritage in a cultural environment that frees up our people for creative expression that will strengthen our national identity.
