The Culture Division sees the development of the cultural industries as integral to its work. By means of conducting policy research and providing opportunities for capacity building and sectoral support, we are developing the environment in which artistic and cultural organisations and individuals can grow in support for the creative work they do and contribute to Trinidad and Tobago. One such programme with a focus for the development of the Cultural Industries is the National Registry of Artists and Cultural Workers, which was launched in 2011 and currently has over 200 registrants.
