“Berlin on a Donkey” — the Latest National Theatre Arts Company Production

Berlin on a Donkey Ad

The National Theatre Arts Company has been working to bring “Berlin on a Donkey” to a stage near you. The work is a satirical nod toward the 1885 Berlin Conference and the global realities that would follow the infamous meeting organised by then German Chancellor, Otto Von Bismarck; the setting of what was a move by colonial powers to override centuries of autonomous self rule in Africa and what is widely referred to as the “scramble for Africa.”

The production, coming on the heels of the company’s staging of Freddie Kissoon’s “Calabash Alley”, is directed by Ralph Campbell and takes place on Friday 26th June, 2015 at 7pm at the Central Bank Auditorium. Free and open to the public, interested persons are asked to send an email to nationaltheatreartstt@gmail.com to book seats.
